Processed topsoil is screened to ½” minus and refined soil that has been cleaned of large rocks, roots, clay clumps, and other debris to create a smooth, workable material. It is commonly used in landscaping and construction projects where a consistent growing surface or finish grade is needed.
However, its quality can vary depending on the source, so it may still need amendments like compost or fertilizer for optimal plant performance.
