Fill Dirt

Fill dirt is a foundational earth material used to raise grade, fill low areas, and level terrain. Unlike topsoil, quality fill dirt contains little to no organic matter, which helps prevent decomposition, voids, and long-term settling. It is typically made up of subsoil, sand, clay, gravel, and small rock fragments, and is often compacted in layers to improve strength and durability.

Not suitable for grass or final grade.
